John 5:19: Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." ( We know this is true. Jesus establishes the fact that He only does what the Father tells Him to do, and that in Himself He can do nothing. ) John 8:28-29: Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him."
Everyone and everything comes to me only through God Everything in my life is for a purpose Everything in my life is sacred therefore each and everything that I do should be done with attention, patience and quietness Every person who comes before me should be treated as sacred and be honored as a friend Every moment is all the life I live. Past is illusion and future is only the next moment I am already living in eternity. Perfect peace is living eternally in each moment. The Kingdom of God is within me, when I am obedient to God through the word in my heart and intuition, I will enter the Kingdom while on earth. Following Jesus' admonition to do what the Father leads me to do, is the path that will take me to that place within myself. I can't get there on my own because I don't know how to avoid the pitfalls of the enemy. It is impossible to change myself and become pure on my own. I have to depend entirely on the work of the Holy Spirit to transform my mind and all aspects of my soul life and raise my energy to a higher level to escape the worlds hold on me. The thoughts I think and the words I speak have power. They must be guarded and not be used foolishly or harmfully.
The only way to navigate safely in this world and make our way out of it is obedience to the direction of God personally in our life as well as surrendering every aspect of our life to him and letting him bring everything to pass according to his plan for us. This is the example of Jesus which he lived when he walked the earth. Through the example of Jesus, we learn that he had a pre-ordained path, there were prophetic statements proclaiming what he was to do. He had to choose each step in alignment with those prophecies. He always told the deciples what he had to do. They were unbelieving and confused about it because they didn't understand Jesus's mission. There are so many voices in the world trying to pull us into their power. Why does this keep happening to us as we strive to do God's will? It is the force of Satan's plan to derail us off of God's plan for us or keep us from entering into it if we haven't got there yet. "Straight is the gate, and narrow is the way and few there be that find it". Do you wonder why God made it so hard to shed this world and live the Kingdom life? It seems impossible to keep on the straight and narrow path. The reason we so easily fall off the path is because we don't realize that there is an individually specific path for us only and we have to keep on it. We think we just have to be good and obey God's basic laws and try real hard to love everybody and then we'll make it.That is self righteous stiving and it gets us no where but into Satan's net of confusion and temptation. When we get to the place in our walk where we truly desire to surrender our will and everything to God, when we want to be what he planned for us to be, we will be told what we need to know. Just as Jesus received the prophetic words of the Old Testament prophets and John the Baptist and followed their leading as they aligned with the timing in his prayers and his knowing inside his heart, we too will receive knowledge and prophecies meant for our leading into God's plan for our lives. Our God-ordained path will not be in alignment with the mores of society. It will be of an energy that conflicts with the anti-love energy of the world and will cause us problems and sufferings when we go against it. When we hear a word and know it is an obedience, we need to perform it so God can prepare us and use us to bring his will to earth. If we don't listen but disregard his word for us, we will stall. Nothing will work out for us until we obey that step. Jesus didn't have that stalling problem because he always did only what the Father told him. We always struggle with that stalling problem until we surrender our pride and control and let God truly 'have' us. Just like the Israelites going in circles in the wilderness for forty years, as long as we resist, demand and complain, we will get no where. When we continually argue the substance and content of God's will for us thinking it can't be right because it just doesn't make sense or it is too extraordinary, God just wouldn't expect that of us or people will think we're crazy, we're missing it. Giving up our life in this world means we have no more right to try to fit into its mold for us. Instead we become the resilient clay for our Heavenly Potter to mold His idea of us and create us and all relating to us as He chooses. We just quietly submit. Then we are ready, as Jesus was, to obey the prophetic words as their power ignited by faith speaks and activates God's will into existance. Then we are changed and become powerful world changers. |
